Founded in 1996, the Horgany Natural Reserve was established with the mission of preserving and protecting the unique landscapes, flora, and fauna adorning the Horgany region. Forests, grasslands and meadows define the landscape in this breathtaking natural paradise, which serves as the habitat for approximately 1,700 plant species. Given the splendor of this natural setting, replete with mineral springs as well as historical and cultural monuments, it is no wonder that the Horgany Natural Reserve attracts many tourists annually.
